(Sunday) India, The Grant party stopped at Allahabad for refreshments and continued on to Agra where they visited the Taj Mahal.

(Monday) Mexico, General and Mrs. Grant, accompanied by Lieutenant General Philip H. Sheridan arrived in Mexico City. That afternoon they met Mexican President Porfirio Diaz and dined in the evening at the Presidential Palace.
